Our interview with Khun Chanoksu, nickname Khun Nok, was held on Friday, 3 September 1999 at Burger King restaurant in the Central Lad Phrao mall.  This is what Khun Nok had to write in his weekly column about our interview.  Since the Thairath is a Thai lanuage newspaper, I will translate the column into English.  The weekly column is titled Sangwien Web.

Thai Content Web Site

He is Chinese, born in Indonesia but grew up in America before living in Thailand for the past 4 years.  He plans to live in Thailand because he said 'I love Thailand'.  His name is "Billy Chandra", Thailander.com's Webmaster.

This web site was started in May for the purpose of providing content about Thailand for Thais and foreigners.
"I developed this web site in two languages; Thai and English for both target audiences.  I have my team to help me find and write the contents.  Our team agreed that there are a lot of portal sites already in Thailand.  In contrast, the sites that provide content about Thailand are very few.  That's the reason we position ourself as a content provider."

Moreover, this web site stands out because it has a 3D Chat room.  After downloading the program, you can access their world "Thailand" which is designed especially for Thais and very easy to use.  This 3D Chat program does not currently support the Thai language, but they are working on it.

This is the web site that has it's own style and has content about Thailand for Thai people and whoever else that is interested in Thailand.
