In Thailand it is very difficult for a
foreigner to differentiate a town/city name in terms of knowing whether its a district or
province. Here are some helpful tips.
- If you know the name of the town or city but not sure if its a
district or province, then first look through the list of provinces above, otherwise type
the name in the District entry field.
- If you are not sure of the spelling of the town, i.e.: Hua Hin
or HuaHin, then type in 'hua' or 'hu' or even 'h' and we will try to find the best match
available. Searches are case insensitive, meaning using lowercase or uppercase
letters do not affect the search.
- Click on the "Begins with" radio button to search
for names that begin with the character or characters entered, i.e.: if you entered
"Royal" then the search will find any names that begins with "Royal".
For example the search results would return: "Royal Cliff Beach Resort",
"Royal Diamond", etc.
- Click on the "Contains" radio button to search for
names that contain the character or characters entered, i.e.: if you entered
"Royal" then the search will find any names that have "Royal"
contained within it. For example the search results would return: "Bangkapi
Royal Rose", "Royal Diamond", etc...
